Text to Speech also called as TTS . It is a software which converts text in documents or webpages or apps, etc into voice . It converts text into voice instantly with the click of a button

In Google Now if you ask a query in voice the app will reply you in voice . This is done with the help of Text to Speech . It converts your voice into text with voice recognition and then understands it then it creates text and then converts it to voice and then replies you

TTS is still in its initial stages . A lot of development has happened in last 5 years. It has a lot of scope and can be used in various applications in future .
